President and founder, Mr. Klaers has over 15 years of diversified experience in the hospitality industry. Mr. Klaers is responsible for the operations and development of all hotels within Discover Lodging Management's portfolio.
He has developed proven systems of budgeting, marketing, cost control, policies and procedures.

Mr. Klaers is also the President of Klaers Corporation, Inc., a property development company and President and CEO of Select Franchising, Inc., a franchise company, both located in Fargo, ND. Mr. Klaers is a shareholder in 6 hotels, which are managed by Discover Lodging Management, Inc.
